Daria Hodies
Daria Hodies serves as the Communications Specialist for The Irving Law Firm, where she handles administrative support, marketing efforts, and social media content creation. She welcomes clients, maintains the firm’s online presence with careful attention, and assists staff members with anything they need. Alongside these responsibilities, she dedicates much of her time to ensuring consistent, high quality communication between the firm and the community.
Before joining the firm, Daria grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from Temple University in 2023 with a degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Media Environments. She is an avid writer and storyteller who has held social media and administrative roles for several Virginia based organizations. She has also worked in journalism for D.C. Witness, a criminal and legal news outlet. In 2025, she self published her poetry collection titled “Seven Years of Bad Luck,” which features essays, poems, and letters written over many years.
When she is not working, Daria enjoys spending time at the movies, attending concerts with friends, and exploring new local coffee shops. She also cares for her two dogs, Scout and Raine, and loves sitting by the ocean with a notebook, writing whatever comes to her in the moment.
