Troy Curfman

Troy Curfman is an Associate Attorney at Fairfax Divorce Lawyers, focusing his practice on criminal defense and family law. Troy is committed to providing clear, steady guidance to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Troy earned his B.A. in Law, Politics, and Society from Drake University, graduating cum laude. He went on to earn his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Troy was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society and gained hands-on experience as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Justice Defense Clinic.

Before joining Fairfax Divorce Lawyers, Troy clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Salerno at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. This role provided him with valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom practice, which he now applies to every case he handles.
